Course Info: This Web-based eLearning course is for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies, specifically those seeking an alternative (nonclassroom) method for completing an initial or update ACLS Course.

You must have completed the online course via the American Heart Association Online Portal and have printed up the certificate with the serial number. The certificate with the serial number will look similar to the examples below, and you must bring it with you to your in person skills test. We will verify your serial number and ask you for identification. Please see eLearning Page for Complete Information on all Online AHA Courses.

Part 1 Online Portion Course Length from AHA: Approximately 7-8 hours Online (Note: If you not good at computer learning or fast navigation online you should take the course all in person.)

Part 2 & 3 In-Person Course Length: Approximately 1-2 hours in person

Total Course Length: Approximately 8-10 hours online & in person

Course Fee: $105.00 Payment. (Refund Policy)

Certification: Two (2) Year American Heart Association (AHA) Certification - Same Day AHA Certification - Card Issued at end of Course pending successful completion of MegaCode Testing. eCards Issued at end of Course.

Continuing Education Accreditation: Approved by the American Heart Association, an organization accredited by the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS), for 12.00 Advanced CEHs, activity number 20-AMHA-F3-0095.

Prerequisite: Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR card. If your BLS card is expired, you must complete the BLS for Healthcare Providers course completion (BLS during ACLS) testing during the Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and BLS written exam, for an additional $55. If you do not have an American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider card you must take a full course. After successful completion you will be issued a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Card.

Precourse Self Assessment Test: Pre-Test is an optional module to help you pass the in-person Megacode testing. Pre-Test Available at https://elearning.heart.org/course/423

BLS Healthcare Provider CPR Requirement / CPR Add-On additional $55 if renewing BLS CPR within ACLS You must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR card prior to the start of the course. If expired, you have the option to renew your BLS for Healthcare Providers card during the Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course, for an additional $55. Since this is a “test-out” option, it is the student’s responsibility to be familiar with the AHA Guidelines for CPR before testing and written BLS Exam. You will receive both certification.

I certify that I have read and accept the Refund/ No Show/ Reschedule Policy that cancellations under a two (2) day notice are non-refundable for all courses. Failure to attend your scheduled class as a “no show/no call” are non-refundable and are not able to be rescheduled. Refunds are granted as per policy. You also have the option of rescheduling your course to a new date/time. If your course is more than two (2) days from the start you can reschedule at no cost. However, if you are within two (2) days of your course, you will be assessed a rescheduling fee. All reschedules must be done via our Reschedule Course Page.
