Exam: Upon completion of the Instructor-led Course, including all cognitive content and all hands-on skills practice and testing, students need to pass the 50 question final exam with a minimum score of 84%. Exam is open resources, which means you can use your book/eBook/notes.

Course Fee: $175 (manual not included)
Course Location: Class location is 450 Hamburg Turnpike Suite 2A in Wayne NJ 07470. (Click to see Google maps). Note its located directly across the street from Passaic County Sheriff's Department. Plenty of free Parking Available.


Course Info: The ONE-DAY ACLS program is for students renewing with current cards who wish to take the renewal program. This program covers the 12 core cases as outlined by the American Heart Associations which include: Airway Management, Bradycardias, Tachycardias, Cardiac Arrest cases Team Dynamics, Coronary Syndrome, Stroke.

Course Length: Approximately 4 hours includes the 50 Question In-Person Final Exam

Certification: Two (2) Year American Heart Association (AHA) Certification - Same Day AHA Certification - Card Issued at end of Course pending successful completion of written and MegaCode Testing. eCards Issued at end of Course

Continuing Education Accreditation: The American Heart Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education and the Commission on Accreditation of Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE) for 12.00 Advanced Continuing Education Hours (CEH's). Physicians: Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education 3.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM

Physician Assistants (PA): AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society. Physician assistants may receive a maximum of 3.00 hours of Category I credit for completing this program.

Nurse Practitioners: American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) accepts AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM from organizations accredited by the ACCME.

Nurses: ANCC Credit Designation Statement, The maximum number of hours awarded for this CE activity is 4.5 contact hours

Prerequisite: Proof of previous AHA ACLS course & Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR card. If your BLS card is expired, you must complete the BLS for Healthcare Providers course completion (BLS during ACLS) testing during the Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and BLS written exam, for an additional $55. If you do not have an American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider card you must take a full course. After successful completion you will be issued a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Card.

Required Precourse Self Assessment Test: Pre-Test is required to complete prior to attending your scheduled course. Pre-Test Available at https://elearning.heart.org/course/423 - Allow 1-hour to complete the pretest, must score 70% or better, but may be retaken if necessary. Please print and bring in completed pretest results. (If you do not have a printer, take a picture with your phone of results clearly showing your score)

BLS Healthcare Provider CPR Requirement / CPR Add-On additional $55 if renewing BLS CPR within ACLS You must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR card prior to the start of the course. If expired, you have the option to renew your BLS for Healthcare Providers card during the Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course, for an additional $55. Since this is a “test-out” option, it is the student’s responsibility to be familiar with the AHA Guidelines for CPR before testing and written BLS Exam. You will receive both certification.

Refund / No Show / Reschedule Policy Acknowledgement:
I certify that I have read and accept the Refund/ No Show/ Reschedule Policy that cancellations under a two (2) day notice are non-refundable for all courses. Failure to attend your scheduled class as a “no show/no call” are non-refundable and are not able to be rescheduled. Refunds are granted as per policy. You also have the option of rescheduling your course to a new date/time. If your course is more than two (2) days from the start you can reschedule at no cost. However, if you are within two (2) days of your course, you will be assessed a rescheduling fee. All reschedules must be done via our Reschedule Course Page.
