Class Start Time(s): 9:30AM - 2:30PM In-Person
Exam: Upon completion of the Instructor-led Course, including all cognitive content and all hands-on skills practice and testing, students need to pass the 50 question final exam with a minimum score of 84%. Exam is open resources, which means you can use your book/eBook/notes.
PreCourse Work (Required at Home): Online Precourse work will take 4-hours plan accordingly, must be done prior to in-person component. See below on how to take.

Course Location: Class location is 450 Hamburg Turnpike Suite 2A in Wayne NJ 07470. (Click to see Google maps). Note its located directly across the street from Passaic County Sheriff's Department. Plenty of free Parking Available.


Course Info: The ONE-DAY PALS Initial Course. This is an accelerated course, advance preparation is highly advised. The PALS Course is for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children. These include personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, paramedics and others who need a PALS course completion card for job or other requirements. Completion of the PALS Precourse Self-Assessment and Precourse Work is required prior to first day of class. (see below for details).

Course Length: 5-hours of In-Person + 4 hours of PreCourse Work (done at home) + 1 hour 50 Question Final Exam done in class.

Prerequisite:Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR card. If your BLS card is expired, you must complete the BLS for Healthcare Providers course completion (BLS during PALS) testing during the Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and BLS written exam, for an additional $55. If you do not have an American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider card you must take a full course. After successful completion you will be issued a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Card.

Mandatory Precourse Self-Assessment and Precourse Work includes: **REQUIRED**

  3. Successful completion of the PALS Precourse Self-Assessment and Precourse work will result in a the certificate and pre-test score. BLS Healthcare Provider CPR Requirement / CPR Add-On additional $55 if renewing BLS CPR within PALS You must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR card prior to the start of the course. If expired, you have the option to renew your BLS for Healthcare Providers card during the Pediatric Advanced Life Support course, for an additional $55. Since this is a “test-out” option, it is the student’s responsibility to be familiar with the AHA Guidelines for CPR before testing and written BLS Exam. You will receive both certification.

Failure to attend your scheduled class as a “no show/no call” are non-refundable and are not able to be rescheduled. Refunds are granted as per policy.
