Course Info: The American Red Cross Advanced Life Support (ALS) blended learning course provides healthcare providers the knowledge and skills necessary to assess recognize and care for adult patients experiencing life threatening medical emergencies. Consistent with the American Red Cross Focused Updates and Guidelines 2020 the ALS course emphasizes providing high-quality care and integrating psychomotor skills with critical thinking and problem solving to achieve the best possible patient outcomes. The online portion of the ALS course features adaptive learning technology which offers a personalized focused learning experience for each participant. Participants must successfully complete the online portion of the course including the ALS Team Response Scenarios at the end of each lesson and the final written exam before attending the in-person skills session.

Certification: Two (2) Year American Red Cross ALS Advanced Life Support Certification - Same Day Certification - Digital certificates can be viewed, printed or shared online and can be accessed anytime through your Red Cross Account. Each certificate includes a unique ID and a QR code which meets employment requirements and allows employers to easily confirm your certificate is valid.
